First one of the artistic projects is Mesón of unemployed people. This work took as a purpose to draw attention one of the most pressing problems that suffers this neighborhood (Lavapiés, Madrid) multicultural: the unemployment. In this case, the group modified the name to two known streets of Lavapiés’s neighborhood, in Madrid. The first one of them, originally is named Mesón de Paredes. The second one is the (Embajadores) Ambassadors’ street. Across the substitution of the name of “Walls” for “Unemployed people”, The Working Lunch-basket wanted to affect in the most well-known and serious aspect of the economic crisis using as strategy the irony, procedure that characterizes good part of his artistic works.
